In the early 2000s, Damien Tavis Toman transitioned from several one-man black metal projects (Anthesteria, AMY, etc.) to making deeply depressive and emotionally charged folk-rock of a decidedly Gothic nature, with occasional experimental interludes. He recorded slightly fewer than 40 albums before going into seclusion 2012.
